Description:

Put compassion into action by cooking and serving a homemade meal for hospice patients and their families at CarePartners' John Keever Solace Center. Volunteers prepare dishes at home ahead of time and then help serve the meal at the Center. You will be given details about the menu once you sign up. (Reimbursement for supplies is available.) Tasks are available for volunteers who wish to work behind the scenes as well as those who want to interact with patients and families. Volunteers ages 14-17 are welcome if accompanied by a parent or guardian. Ages 18+ welcome.
