Description:

The Community Health Nursing Program is composed of RNs who work directly with women and newborns. Our goal is to provide comprehensive assessments, health and preventative education and referrals to support services for our clients in the convenience of their home setting. The program consists of Maternal Care Skilled Nurse Home Visits, Postpartum Assessment Home Visits and Newborn Assessment Home Visits, all of which target low-income women and newborns that reside within Buncombe County.
